Full-Time Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking to add a new enthusiastic mechanical design engineer to be part of our team designing special purpose Assembly machinery and component parts handling systems, for many major Industries including: Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Electrical/Electronic, Food and packaging.

This is an exciting autonomous role where you produce equipment designs and will liaise directly with the customer and manufacturing team.

The successful applicant, would ideally be from a mechanical design engineering background looking for a new and exciting varied role, where you will work on design products from conception through to completion.

 • Manage conception to completion design projects for an expanding manufacturing company

 • Producing detailed 3D design drawings for in house manufacture

 • Completion of all procedural paperwork including creation of B.O.M.



• Mechanical Design Engineering background

• Proficient in the use of 3D Solidworks

• Ideally have some experience of FEA/Stress Analysis Mechanical Design, Design, Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Special Purpose Machinery, Assembly.

Salary dependant upon experience.

Full-Time Automation Tooling Engineer

Adept Automation is a leader in design and manufacture of Automatic Assembly systems and vibratory parts feeders. We are currently looking for an experienced time served engineer to join our team at Westcott, to manufacture our range of vibratory parts feeders and fully automatic assembly systems.

This is an interesting and varied role which utilizes several skills including fabrication, TIG welding and mechanical fitting. The variety of work changes regularly.

Additional skills in milling, turning and MIG welding would be an advantage.

The role would involve the assembly and manufacture of the companies whole range of equipment, including fully automatic assembly machines, conveyor systems, component feeding and presentation systems.

Suitable training would be given where necessary.


Salary: Dependant upon experience.

Hours: 38 hours per week.

Overtime is also available.

7.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday

7.30am - 1.30pm Friday

Workplace pension available.
